HEALTHY SWEET CORN CHAT – HOW TO MAKE CORN CHAT – KIDS RECIPES

Sweet corn chat is a healthy snack. It is one of the easiest sweet corn recipes that are prepared quickly. Kids love this sweet corn chat for its sweet, tangy and spicy taste.

Sweet corn although being sweet and delicious is a great source of vitamins,   minerals and dietary fiber. Because of the vitamins contained in sweet corn many healthy benefits can be associated with the consumption of this delicious vegetable.

Let’s go thru the ingredients and procedure of this Healthy Sweet Corn Chat:corn

Ingredients:

Sweet corn                                       1 cup

Onions (finely chopped)             ½ cup

Tomato (finely chopped)           ¼ cup

Coriander leaves                            ¼ cup

Lime                                                   2 tbsp

Chat masala                                     1 tsp

Salt to taste

Ghee/butter                                    ½ tsp

Procedure for preparing Healthy Sweet Corn Chat:

  1. In a pressure cooker, cook the sweet corn with enough water and salt.
  2. Drain the extra water.
  3. In a bowl add the boiled sweet corn, add finely chopped onions, finely chopped tomato, lime juice, chat masala, salt and ghee or butter and mix well and add coriander leaves.

Serve the Healthy Sweet Corn Chat immediately.

Note:

  • You can increase or decrease the spice level according to your preference.
