Bread Rolls is a crunchy, delicious and tasty snacks which is loved by kids. Bread rolls are prepared with stuffing of boiled potatoes and spices on bread slices and then deep fried. It is served as starter for parties.
Ingredients:
Bread slices 10
potatoes (boiled) 3
Green chillies 5
Ginger (grated) 2 tsp
Onion 1
Coriander leaves 1 tbsp
Oil for deep frying
Salt to taste
Method:
- In a pan heat 2 tsp of oil and fry onions, green chillies and ginger (grated) till the onions turn transparent.
- Add the mashed potatoes and fry for 1 -2 minutes on medium flame.
- Add coriander leaves, salt and stir well. Put off the flame.
- Soak each bread slice in water and squeeze the water out of the bread slice.
- On the bread slice keep the potato mixture and roll like oval shape. (i, e bread rolls)
- In a pan heat oil for deep frying. Slowly add the bread rolls to the hot oil and deep fry on both the sides till golden brown in colour.
- Remove the bread rolls and drain for excess oil on kitchen towel.
Tasty Bread Rolls are ready. Serve with tomato ketchup.
