Simple Egg Briyani in pressure cooker is a simple and easy recipe. This recipe takes very less time to prepare and it is also a healthy recipe. It can be prepared for one pot meals.

Let’s go thru the procedure for preparing Simple Egg Briyani in Pressure Cooker:

Ingredients:

Eggs                                                  4

Rice                                                    1 1/2 cups

Onions (frying)                                   2

Oil (frying)                                         1/2 cup

Water                                                3 cup

Salt to taste

For Grinding:

Onions                                           2

Chilli powder                                 1 tbsp

Cloves                                           2

Cinnamon                                    2 pieces

Black Pepper                               5

Ginger                                        1/2” piece

Garlic                                          5

Coriander leaves                        1 bunch

Method:

  1. Grind together all the ingredients under grinding into fine paste.
  2. Heat oil in pressure cooker, add chopped onions and salt and fry till light brown.
  3. Add ground paste and fry for 2 – 3 minutes on medium flame till it changes its colour to light brown.
  4. Beat the eggs together and fry well.
  5. Now add rice and mix well.
  6. Add 3 cups water and mix well. Close the pressure cooker lid.
  7. Allow 4 whistles. Put off the flame.
  8. Open the cooker after 10 minutes. Mix the contents well.

Egg Briyani is ready.

NOTE:

  1. U can increase or decrease the spice levels.
  2. U can also use basmati rice or any other variety of rice but adjust the water according to the rice u prefer.
