Fish Fry is a famous dish among all the age group. You can just have it with dal, sambar, rasam and rice. Today I am posting Fish fry prepared in Kerala style which is tasty and yummy. Just go ahead and try it.
Ingredients:
Fish ½ kg
Shallots 7 – 8
Dry red chilli 4 – 5
Ginger ½ “ piece
Garlic 7 – 8
Turmeric powder ½ tsp
Lime juice 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil
Method:
- Grind together shallots, ginger, garlic, turmeric powder and salt into a fine paste.
- Add lime juice to the paste and mix well.
- Marinate the fish pieces with the paste and keep it aside for 2 hours.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add marinated fish pieces in batches to the hot oil and deep fry the fish on both the sides.
Kerala Fish Fry is ready. Serve with rice.
