Simple Egg Briyani in pressure cooker is a simple and easy recipe. This recipe takes very less time to prepare and it is also a healthy recipe. It can be prepared for one pot meals.
Let’s go thru the procedure for preparing Simple Egg Briyani in Pressure Cooker:
Ingredients:
Eggs 4
Rice 1 1/2 cups
Onions (frying) 2
Oil (frying) 1/2 cup
Water 3 cup
Salt to taste
For Grinding:
Onions 2
Chilli powder 1 tbsp
Cloves 2
Cinnamon 2 pieces
Black Pepper 5
Ginger 1/2” piece
Garlic 5
Coriander leaves 1 bunch
Method:
- Grind together all the ingredients under grinding into fine paste.
- Heat oil in pressure cooker, add chopped onions and salt and fry till light brown.
- Add ground paste and fry for 2 – 3 minutes on medium flame till it changes its colour to light brown.
- Beat the eggs together and fry well.
- Now add rice and mix well.
- Add 3 cups water and mix well. Close the pressure cooker lid.
- Allow 4 whistles. Put off the flame.
- Open the cooker after 10 minutes. Mix the contents well.
Egg Briyani is ready.
NOTE:
- U can increase or decrease the spice levels.
- U can also use basmati rice or any other variety of rice but adjust the water according to the rice u prefer.
