VEGETABLE CUTLET – TEA TIME SNACK RECIPE – MONSOON RECIPE

Vegetable Cutlet is a simple and healthy snack prepared using different vegetables and spices. It is a good tea – time snack especially during winters and monsoon seasons.

Let’s go thru the procedure of preparing Vegetable Cutlet.

Ingredients:

Carrot                                      1 cup

Beans                                      1 cup

Cabbage                                 1 cup

Potato                                     1 cup

Green peas                             1 cup

Onions                                    2

Green chillies                          5 – 6

Garam masala powder           1 tsp

Turmeric powder                    1/2 tsp

Coriander leaves                    1 bunch

Egg whites                             2

Bread crumbs                        3 – 4 tbsp

Oil for deep frying

Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Boil all the vegetables with enough water, turmeric and salt.
  2. Slightly mash all the cooked vegetables. Add to it coriander leaves, finely chopped onions, green chillies, garam masala powder and salt and mix well.
  3. Make small balls and flatten them and dip them in egg whites and then dip them in fresh bread crumbs.
  4. Meanwhile heat a pan for deep frying. Now add the flatten pat
  5. ties into oil and fry on both the sides till golden brown.

Tasty Vegetable Cutlet is ready. Serve with tomato sauce or chutney.
