Vegetable Cutlet is a simple and healthy snack prepared using different vegetables and spices. It is a good tea – time snack especially during winters and monsoon seasons.
Let’s go thru the procedure of preparing Vegetable Cutlet.
Ingredients:
Carrot 1 cup
Beans 1 cup
Cabbage 1 cup
Potato 1 cup
Green peas 1 cup
Onions 2
Green chillies 5 – 6
Garam masala powder 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Coriander leaves 1 bunch
Egg whites 2
Bread crumbs 3 – 4 tbsp
Oil for deep frying
Salt to taste
Method:
- Boil all the vegetables with enough water, turmeric and salt.
- Slightly mash all the cooked vegetables. Add to it coriander leaves, finely chopped onions, green chillies, garam masala powder and salt and mix well.
- Make small balls and flatten them and dip them in egg whites and then dip them in fresh bread crumbs.
- Meanwhile heat a pan for deep frying. Now add the flatten pat
- ties into oil and fry on both the sides till golden brown.
Tasty Vegetable Cutlet is ready. Serve with tomato sauce or chutney.
