Telangana Chicken Fry is a hot and spicy chicken fry. There are different methods of preparing Telangana Chicken Fry.
Today I am posting one of the methods which are shared by our friend Satya – in this method we are not using onions. Chicken pieces are marinated and kept aside for 1 – 2 hours and then deep fried.
Let’s go straight to the recipe:
Ingredients:
Chicken (boneless) 250 g
Red chili powder 3 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Turmeric powder ¼ tsp
Ginger – garlic paste 3 tsp
Salt to taste
For Grinding (Masala):
Patta (Dal Chini) 2
Cloves 3
Cardamom 3
Star aniseed 1
Black pepper 6
Oil for deep frying
Procedure for preparing TELANGANA CHICKEN FRY:
- Grind together patta (dal Chini), cloves, cardamom, star aniseed and black pepper to a coarse powder.
- In a bowl add chicken, red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, ginger – garlic paste, salt and the ground masala powder and mix well.
- Keep the marinated chicken pieces in the refrigerator for 1 – 2 hours.
- Heat oil in a pan for deep frying. When the oil is hot add the marinated chicken pieces in batches and fry on both sides until golden brown. Drain the fried chicken pieces on kitchen paper.
Spicy and yummy fried Chicken is ready. Serve it with pachi pulusu, rasam, sambar and rice.
